Amy's Bookshelf Reviews's mission is to inspire people to read more and discover new worlds through literature. The belief is that reading is an essential part of personal growth and strive to make it accessible to everyone. Amy's Bookshelf Reviews' purpose is to help others, while staying true to themselves and each other.
Amy's Bookshelf Reviews strongly believes that every GOOD book should be read. Every GREAT book deserves more than one read. Amy believes that all adults should read and know how to read. If you know how to read, use it, read! Children should be taught to read and be read to. Amy also believes that all adults should read more children's books, whether they have children or not. And once you've read a book, write a review for the book, and then, pass it on.
"All Adults should read children's books. You just might learn something. The secret that all children know, and adults forget."
Amy Shannon
"Illiteracy in the United States affects about one in five adults, or 21% of the population [...]. This means that 43 million adults in the U.S. have low literacy skills." -National Center for Education Statistics (NCES)
Look on my blog for books that I've already read, then, read them book yourself, and write a review and post it on Amazon. Once your review get's posted, keep track of the links to each review, and make sure you put the book name and author with it. If you can't or won't post on Amazon, but will post the review elsewhere, like your blog or whatever, those links will suffice. The contest will end on December 31, 2025. But that doesn't mean you should not write a review for books that you read.
The readers that have posted the most reviews in within this period, will get free promotions of their book or book series for one year. That's a year of Email Campaigns (once a month) X.com posts (once a month), an Ad in Literately-Magazine, and if you want to be a guest on the Amy's Bookshelf Reviews Podcast, you'll get a free 10-15 second audio advertisement that will run at the end of the one of the podcasts in a month, (which airs every Sunday), for one year.

The website is current under construction. I am trying to streamline some pages, by joining them, or removing sections that are outdated, or just updating them to look better. Still taking requests though.
