THE CONVERSATIONS

All I require is that when you get the link to your show, (you’ll get it and the date the show will air after the prerecorded conversation), is that you share the information with your audience, on your website and/or social media.

  • To be scheduled and prerecorded
  • Donations GREATLY appreciated and accepted
  • It’s a conversation. You talk about your work and see where it leads us. Sometimes it’s more than just books!
  • I do NOT have a list of questions that I ask. I ask a question, you answer, and we discuss.
  • All I require is that when you get the link to your show, (you’ll get it and the date the show will air after the recorded conversation), is that you share the information with your audience, on your website and/or social media. And please, if you ha a Spotify account, ease follow the podcast
  • The default program is Google Meet and it gives you the option to connect via your computer (for video or audio) or a phone number you can call, for audio only. However, I can also use Zoom, but I have the free version, so I could not use it for the Spotlight Episodes.
  • Check your microphone and camera on your computer to make sure they works.
  • If using a cellphone, make sure you have plenty of charge on it.
  • Also, I set the meetings to my time zone, Eastern. (I live in Upstate NY). So, when we agree on a time, make sure I know if you are in a different time zone, and if you mean a time that is on your time zone, not mine.
  • If your availability doesn’t jive with the booking schedule, email me and we will work out a schedule that works for you.
  • I reserve the right to NOT air any episode if the content goes against my policy of clean content**

**The Clean Content Requirement

This podcast is clean content only. This podcast supports First Amendment Rights and has a segment for uncensored voices, but even the First Amendment has exclusions to the rule.

Clean Content means:

  1. No VULGAR language or SWEARING while recording. My podcast is clean content, and I want to keep it that way. The only exception would be if an author was reading an excerpt that had choice words within the content.
  2. NO content should promote HATE, VIOLENCE, BIGOTRY, OR ANY PROMOTION OF BODILY HARM OR HATE AGAINST A PERSON, OR A GROUP, OR RACE, OR GENDER.
  3. However, if, due to a true crime writer talking about a case, and it is a little graphic, that episode will have a disclaimer.

I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO NOT AIR ANY APPEARANCE THAT VIOLATES MY RULES.

Zoom Request

  • Zoom is another prerecording option for video and audio use on your computer or smartphone.
  • In Google Meet, there is also the option to call in, instead of using the computer. So, when you schedule your meeting, there is already that option.

PODCAST SPONSORSHIP

Support a Podcast That Supports Authors

My podcast is built on a simple belief: stories matter. Every week, I sit down with authors — emerging, established, censored, indie, and traditionally published — to talk about craft, creativity, and the power of storytelling.

If you believe in books, literacy, and giving authors a platform, I invite you to become a sponsor.

Your support helps me:

  • Keep the show running
  • Feature more authors
  • Advocate for literacy and anti‑censorship
  • Grow the community around storytelling
  • Your support — at any level — makes a real difference.

"Voices Unmuted"

ABOUT

It's about giving voices to those whom others have tried to silence, whether with their voice or their written word. Banning and censorship has been around since pretty much the dawn of time. I had a mission before where I would read a book and write a review because it was banned or tried to be censored.  This segment can have ANY type of guest or guests, who wish to talk to let their voice be heard. However, I do not promote HATE,  BIGOTRY, OR ANY TYPE OF VIOLENCE. I also ask for all shows that vulgur language is not acceptable (unless reading from an excerpt in the book). You don't have to be a literary professional, you can be an advocate that wants to talk about your passion and causes.

I NEVER censor anyone who appears on my show. When my episodes are edited, they are for quality, and dead air, not content, as long as the rules are followed.

American Library Association

I keep track of the books on the American Library Association, to see their yearly list of censored books.

First Amendment of the Constitution

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. "

Advocacy

I am an advocate for literacy, and anti-censorship (however, the exceptions in the First Amendment of the Constitution make sense, where you should not yell fire in a crowded place, or use words to incite violence or insurrections, or worse). I do not want others telling me what I can and cannot say, what I can and cannot read, and what I can and cannot write.
