DO NOT SEND ANY DONATIONS OR PURCHASE ANY AUTHOR PROMOTION, INCLUDING VIDEO REVIEWS, UNTIL YOU HAVE OFFICIALLY REQUESTED A REVIEW, AND THE REQUEST WAS APPROVED.
A review request is "Officially Approved" once Amy's Bookshelf Reviews received the digital file of the book.
When providing any information, check for typos and spelling errors before sending.
Book Lengths: Amy's Bookshelf Reviews reads and reviews short stories and novellas (word count does not matter). Amy's Bookshelf Reviews reads children's picture books and Graphic Novels. Amy's Bookshelf Reviews reads and review novels, nonfiction books, Epic Novels, educational textbooks, and basically, as long as the book is one of the accepted genres, any size, any word count. Heck, if you want a review on a flash fiction story for your website, Amy's Bookshelf Reviews will do that, too.
"No Fly Zone"
The "NO FLY ZONE" of Amy's Bookshelf Reviews. If anyone misrepresents themselves or lie about anything (I'm not talking about errors or mistakes), that person's name will be banned. I also do not accept requests from unscrupulous authors, author representatives, or publishers. I get a lot of information and have a lot of contacts, so if there are unscrupulous persons out there, I usually find out about them, or have experience with them.
DECEMBER 2025-2026:
First time requests from an author, will only be accepted if the author has a referral code from a publisher, a publicist or another author. Also, if there is no referral code, the author must have their representative request a review on their behalf.

IMPOSTER REPRESENTING AMY'S BOOKSHELF REVIEWS
There is someone posing as Amy's Bookshelf Reviews, and Literary Consultant. Watch the video at the top of the home page. My emails will have a watermark either in the body and/or in the signature of my emails that I send. My logos and graphics also have a mark I created.
When receiving emails you think are from me, check the actual email address carefully. I received one today on my other email address I use for my consulting business, trying to recruit my book, posting as Amy's Bookshelf Reviews & Podcast.
