Anyone wanting access to one of the Badges on the site, can contact Amy Shannon. This site does not allow right click functionality.

All badges, images, and logos regarding Amy’s Bookshelf Reviews are content and copyrighted by Amy’s Bookshelf Reviews (and Essence Publishing).

Other Business Logos and Advertising

Other business logos and advertising, including those book review directories, and all the images on the Business Bulletin Board, and their connected hyperlinks belong to that particular business or person.

Reviews:

The written and video reviews of an author’s work are the property of Amy’s Bookshelf Reviews. However, the author has permission to use all or part of the review for promotion. For each author that requests a review, and one is written, the author will get a copy of the review in full, and a notification that Amy’s Bookshelf Reviews gives permission to use the review. Any content that is from the book itself, and used in the review, is quoted.

ETHICS POLICY

Amy’s Bookshelf Reviews only reviews books of any genre from any author, as long as the policies and rules are followed. (However, Amy’s Bookshelf Reviews does NOT read anything that supports racism, or bias against any race, gender, sexual orientation, or hate of any person or group). 

Amy’s Bookshelf Reviews does NOT allow the author to influence the rating. (If an author requests” a 5-star review, Amy’s Bookshelf Reviews will not read the book or write a review. If Amy’s Bookshelf Reviews notices that an author has written a review on their own book, Amy’s Bookshelf Reviews will not post a review for that author. Author reviews of their own work is not ethical. 

Amy’s Bookshelf Reviews ONLY give reviews 3, 4, or 5 Stars. If Amy’s Bookshelf Reviews deem the title to be lower, Amy’s Bookshelf Reviews will send the book back to the author, AND they can resend it if they make changes or necessary edits.

PRIVACY NOTIFICATION: 

Amy 's Bookshelf Reviews will NEVER share or sell the books that are provided to this blog for reading and review purposes. In some cases, lines from the book may be "quoted" in the review. All files provided to Amy's Bookshelf Reviews are confidential and kept in a digital and encrypted file and will not be shared with anyone for any reason. After the book is reviewed, the digital copy of the book is deleted, as is the book cover. 

Files that are uploaded by the author to a public Google Drive, are then moved to a private Google Folder, downloaded when the book is to be read, and deleted when the book is finished, and the review written. 

Any information that is asked to NOT be revealed is kept secret (such as real names of authors) as this site only uses the PEN NAMES for the authors (only is it the real name if the author intends to use their real name on their titles).
