Sky Robert writes a sexy, sci-fi romantic tale with Jewel of the Alien Bandit. I haven't read anything by this author before, and what a hidden gem. This book is part of the Treasures of Trillume series, and this is volume one. The reader is introduced to Luan and Vareo. They are from different worlds, literally. Luan is a ruler of her people, and it could be the death of her, if anyone finds out. Vareo, forced to be part of the Necia, which is an outlaw gang on his world. Luan has to find a mate, while she can, so she can produce an heir. Luan has a few prospects on her world, but she is not so sure of any of these men as mates. Who doesn't love an alien romance? Robert writes a dramatic, out of this world story that can either bring worlds together or tear them apart together. This author brings the story to life. The characters are so real, it's like being with them within the story. The trysts between the two are steamy and sensual, and written very well. This author is a great storyteller. The reader just embarks on a superb journey. There is more than one story in Jewel of the Alien Bandit, as it's a magnificent plot that kept this reader turning the pages. I look forward to the next book of this series. Jewel of the Alien Bandit is a definite recommendation by Amy's Bookshelf Reviews. I read this book to give my unbiased and honest review.
